Leaked images on Reddit reveal a custom Zelda-themed Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller featuring a green, black, and gold color scheme with Triforce accents, alongside hints of a 40th-anniversary celebration.
Images showing an unannounced Nintendo Switch 2 console and Pro Controller themed around The Legend of Zelda have surfaced online, giving fans a potential early look at upcoming hardware. Originally reported by Game Rant and shared on Reddit by user Enryx25, the leaked photos reveal a custom green and gold color scheme featuring the iconic Triforce symbol on both the console dock and the redesigned Joy-Cons. A matching Pro Controller sporting the franchise logo has also appeared, alongside packaging details hinting at broader franchise celebrations.
The leak points toward a special edition release tied to the rumored Ocarina of Time remake, which was initially teased during the June Nintendo Direct. Interestingly, the packaging suggests that the custom console may not actually bundle the game itself, a detail that is bound to spark discussions among collectors and players weighing the cost of next generation hardware. The Pro Controller packaging also includes a badge marking the 40th anniversary of the Zelda series, which could mean Nintendo is planning a dedicated showcase or Direct to officially unveil these items alongside more news on the remake.
As with any hardware leak, these images require a healthy dose of skepticism until Nintendo makes an official announcement. Still, the timing aligns with expectations for late 2026 releases and the ongoing transition into Nintendo's next generation platform. For a community that treats hardware variants and milestone anniversaries as major cultural moments, this leak sets high expectations for what the company has planned for its flagship adventure series.
