Director Zach Cregger has offered a fresh status update on the much anticipated Aunt Gladys prequel, confirming that the script is actively being written. Speaking during a panel appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, Cregger addressed the project directly. He made it clear that while the film is definitely happening, it will not occupy the top spot on his immediate directing schedule, as he juggles other major commitments including Weapons and an upcoming Resident Evil feature.
