Konami and Crocs have revealed a new Yu-Gi-Oh footwear collaboration featuring character-themed clogs, custom card charms, and a limited-edition promo card ahead of the World Championship.
Konami and Crocs have officially unveiled a new footwear line inspired by the enduring anime and trading card juggernaut Yu-Gi-Oh. Spotted at a special display ahead of the Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship in Tokyo, the collection features four distinct pairs of clogs. The lineup includes two standard Classic Clogs styled after Yugi Mutou and Seto Kaiba, alongside two textured Echo Clogs dedicated to the Dark Magician and the iconic Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Promotional materials also point to a custom set of Jibbitz charms modeled after actual cards, giving players a brand new way to flex their duel disk loyalty in public.
The crossover extends straight back into the card game itself with a brand new limited-edition promo card titled Crocodile. True to the footwear theme, the Level 3 reptile card boasts 1300 ATK and DEF, complete with flavor text referencing the exact number of ventilation holes on a standard pair of Crocs. While individual product listings are still rolling out on the official Crocs site, leaks and reports via Sole Retriever point to a tentative September release window. Neither Konami nor Crocs has confirmed pricing details yet, but convention attendees have already given the bizarre pairing plenty of organic traction across social feeds.
This drop is part of a much larger trend of footwear brands treating gaming and pop culture franchises as staple collaborators. Crocs in particular has leaned hard into gaming lifestyle spaces with previous lines for Animal Crossing, Super Mario, and upcoming Pokémon clogs, while competitors like Nike and Adidas continue rolling out major gaming and anime sneaker capsules. For collectors who treat physical merchandise and limited apparel drops as an extension of their gaming identity, this upcoming duel is definitely worth keeping on the radar.
