Xbox has launched a new Free Play Days promotion offering temporary access to six games, including Metal Gear classics, For Honor, and Killing Floor 3, with discounts available for those who want to keep playing after July 27.
Xbox is giving players a chance to clear their weekend schedules without emptying their wallets. Through a fresh wave of Free Play Days promotions running until July 27, a diverse lineup of six titles is currently available to download and play. Depending on the specific game, some selections require a standard Xbox Game Pass subscription, while others are open to the wider console community. This rotation follows a strong run of recent giveaways, keeping up the momentum from last week's access to GTA Online.
The headline act for this batch is the iconic Metal Gear series, giving both longtime fans and newer players a chance to dive into stealth history. The promotion features the Metal Gear Solid - Master Collection Version alongside the classic Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Rounding out the diverse roster are Tides of Tomorrow, Bleach Rebirth of Souls, Killing Floor 3, and Ubisoft's tactical melee brawler For Honor. It is a solid mix of heavy-hitting multiplayer action and sprawling historical single player content that caters to different gaming tastes.
For players looking to test out games before committing digital shelf space or opening up their wallets, these limited time events remain one of the best perks in the ecosystem. If you find something that hooks you for the weekend, the Xbox Store is also running accompanying discounts for the duration of the promotion. To jump in, simply search for the title on the dashboard and select the install or trial option depending on your tier. Original reporting comes via Game Rant, available.
