The latest Xbox Partner Preview showcased major updates including an Eminem-themed Hitman mission, a new roguelike deckbuilder from the Vampire Survivors creators, release dates for Reanimal, and new sequels like Raji: Kaliyuga and Echo Generation 2.
The latest Xbox Partner Preview broadcast brought a solid lineup of reveals, updates, and surprises for players across console, PC, and cloud platforms. IO Interactive showed off fresh footage for 007 First Light, confirming that the high-tech Aston Martin Valhalla will join James Bond's classic DBS as a drivable vehicle. Meanwhile, Hitman World of Assassination is leaning fully into pop culture with an unexpectedly bizarre Elusive Target mission starring Eminem. In this new contract, Agent 47 is hired by the rapper himself to hunt down his own renegade alter ego, Slim Shady.
Fans of chaotic roguelikes also got plenty to celebrate. Poncle, the studio behind the phenomenon that is Vampire Survivors, announced a brand-new roguelike deckbuilder that trades endless hordes for dungeon-crawling action while keeping fan-favorite items like garlic and the whip. Counterplay Games revealed Armatus, a gothic horror roguelite shooter set in post-apocalyptic Paris. On the indie front, Dave the Diver finally landed on Xbox consoles and cloud, complete with a tease for the upcoming In The Jungle expansion arriving early next year.
Sequels and release dates rounded out the showcase, giving players plenty to map out for their future gaming calendars. Tarsier Studios pinned down a February 13, 2026 release date for their grim co-op horror title Reanimal, while Nodding Head Games announced Raji: Kaliyuga, shifting the action adventure franchise into a full third-person perspective with dual protagonists. Cococucumber also treated fans to a first look at Echo Generation 2, continuing the nostalgic eighties and nineties inspired aesthetic with a brand-new adventure. Polygon provided the original breakdown of these announcements.
