The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 arrives on June 7, marking Asha Sharma's first major broadcast as CEO of Microsoft Gaming with a lineup featuring Fable, Gears of War: E-Day, and Call of Duty.
Microsoft is gearing up for one of its most anticipated summer broadcasts with the Xbox Games Showcase 2026, streaming live on Sunday, June 7, at 10 a.m. PDT on YouTube and Twitch. This year holds special significance for the platform as it marks the first major showcase under new Microsoft Gaming CEO Asha Sharma, who stepped into the role following Phil Spencer's retirement earlier this year. Sharma takes the reins at a crucial time, and players are watching closely to see how she plans to steer Game Pass and the broader ecosystem forward. While hardware enthusiasts hoping for deep dives into the next-generation Project Helix will need to temper their expectations according to chief content officer Matt Booty, the software lineup looks stacked.
Fans tuning into the stream can expect fresh gameplay and updates on previously announced heavy hitters like Fable, Clockwork Revolution, State of Decay 3, and Halo: Campaign Evolved. Beyond internal studios, the showcase is slated to feature updates from Bethesda and Activision Blizzard, including looks at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and ongoing titles like Forza Horizon 6 and Sea of Thieves. Rumors are also swirling around potential third-party blockbuster reveals like Persona 6 and a Persona 4 Revival, which would be massive wins for the platform.
Immediately following the main event, Xbox will transition directly into a dedicated deep dive for Gears of War: E-Day. The Coalition is set to pull back the curtain on the origins of Emergence Day, giving fans a comprehensive look at the highly anticipated prequel. For players balancing busy schedules, content creation marathons, and community watch parties across Discord and Twitch, this double feature is shaping up to be a defining moment of the summer gaming calendar.
