Sandustry, a day-one indie game blending Terraria and Factorio mechanics, is now available on PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate via PC.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers on PC have a new time sink on their hands. Lantto Games and publisher Hooded Horse have officially launched Sandustry in early access, bringing the promising indie title to PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on day one. As the 125th addition to the subscription service this year, the game offers a distinct genre blend that is already turning heads in the community.
Created by solo developer Lantto Games, Sandustry combines the satisfying automation and logistics of Factorio with the 2D open-world exploration and survival crafting of Terraria. Players dig through fully destructible environments, gather resources, and build intricate production lines. The resulting gear upgrades allow you to push deeper into the world, secure rare materials, and scale up your manufacturing empire.
While the game is available right now for PC users through the Xbox Store and Steam, console players will have to wait. Because Sandustry does not yet have a dedicated Xbox console port, cloud streaming is also off the table for the time being, as Microsoft's cloud infrastructure relies on modified console hardware. Even so, it is a strong pickup for PC subscribers looking for their next deep crafting addiction, as originally reported by Game Rant.
