EA Sports FC 26 is now available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, arriving alongside its free 2026 World Cup DLC just as the global tournament begins.
Microsoft is keeping its subscription library stacked for sports fans as EA Sports FC 26 officially joins Xbox Game Pass. Subscribers on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass can now jump into the pitch action without shelling out for the full standalone purchase. This follows a familiar rhythm for Electronic Arts, mirroring how previous entries landed on the service in early summer to catch the seasonal wave.
The timing lines up neatly with the real world tournament calendar. The soccer simulation arrives on the subscription service right as the 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Even better for players diving in right now, the game includes access to the recent 2026 World Cup DLC pack at no extra charge, letting fans recreate or rewrite tournament matchups directly from their consoles or PCs.
While sports titles often carry hefty price tags at launch, subscriptions continue to change how players approach annual franchise updates. Instead of buying every yearly iteration outright, many players prefer waiting for these mid-year library drops, especially for multiplayer sessions and casual couch matches with friends. It is a smart play for community engagement, ensuring active lobbies and fresh opponents just when global soccer fever reaches its peak. Original reporting can be found at Game Rant.
