Microsoft announced the Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup, bringing Dune Awakening, day one releases like Gears of War: E-Day, and several indie favorites to subscribers.
Microsoft has revealed the Xbox Game Pass Wave 2 lineup, and the upcoming months are delivering some serious heavyweights for subscribers across console, PC, and cloud. Leading the charge is the sandy survival RPG Dune: Awakening, which hits the service on September 22. Players can also look forward to major day one additions like Minecraft Dungeons 2 on September 29 and the highly anticipated Gears of War: E-Day arriving on October 6 for Ultimate and PC members.
The September and October drop covers a wide spectrum of genres, ensuring there is something for every kind of player. The schedule features comic book beat 'em up Marvel Cosmic Invasion, sci-fi puzzler Planet of Lana 2, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Indie standouts like Routine, Kernel Hearts, and the dark fairytale Metroidvania Well Dweller also round out the robust offering across various subscription tiers.
Of course, a fresh batch of arrivals means it is also time to say goodbye to a few titles. Subscribers only have until September 30 to check out games leaving the service, including the British survival mystery Atomfall, Sifu, and Little Nightmares 2 Enhanced Edition. As subscription catalogs continue to shape how we discover and share games with our communities, this robust late year lineup gives players plenty of new worlds to dive into before the holiday rush.
