As the year starts winding down, Microsoft is already preparing the final content drops for its subscription catalog. According to a recent report by Game Rant, Xbox Game Pass has officially locked in five titles for its December 2025 lineup, giving players across console and PC plenty of reasons to clear out some hard drive space. The initial batch demonstrates a strong variety of genres, mixing fresh co-op experiences with atmospheric narrative adventures.
The December schedule kicks off immediately on the first of the month with the day one co-op release Marvel Cosmic Invasion. Subscribers will only have to wait one more day for the narrative-driven adventure Lost Records: Bloom Rage on December 2. Sci-fi horror fans on PC Game Pass and Game Pass Ultimate also have Routine to look forward to when it launches on December 4. Rounding out the current early announcements, December 9 brings a double feature with the arrivals of A Game About Digging A Hole and Dome Keeper.
While this initial five-game list gives players a solid baseline to plan their holiday gaming sessions, additional drops are expected to be announced soon. For players juggling multiple platforms and keeping up with endless creator content on Twitch and YouTube, the subscription model continues to be a practical way to sample heavy hitters and indie darlings alike without breaking the bank.
