Xbox Game Pass Just Dropped a Retro Bomb: Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 Rides In!

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3+4 just dropped on Xbox Game Pass, giving subscribers a nostalgic kickflip with updated graphics and controls. Game Pass is looking strong this month, but August is still a little bit of a mystery!

Right, buckle up, gaming mates! Xbox Game Pass just pulled a sneaky ollie and dropped *Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4* onto the Ultimate and PC tiers. Yep, you heard right. According to Game Rant, this blast from the past, developed by Iron Galaxy and published by Activision, is shredding its way onto the service this month. (I reckon the Tony Hawk games still hold up alright, even after all these years!)

Game Pass is notorious for its revolving door of titles. One minute you're knee-deep in *Ultimate Chicken Horse* shenanigans, the next you're managing adorable pixelated streets in *Minami Lane* (that, by the way, was a day-one console exclusive for Ultimate and PC – clever move, Microsoft). But *Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4*? That's a different beast altogether.

So, what's the deal with THPS3+4? Well, it's essentially a glow-up for the third and fourth Pro Skater games. Shiny new graphics, tightened controls (thank the gaming gods!), and a few tweaks here and there. Apparently, *THPS4* got the biggest makeover, with the free-roaming Career mode getting the boot in favour of a more traditional, linear approach. Purists might moan, but fair dinkum, it keeps the focus on the skating, yeah?

Critics seem to dig it, with an average score of 84 on OpenCritic. Most are praising the experience, even if some are a bit miffed about the *THPS4* changes. But come on, you can't please everyone, can you?

And the Game Pass gravy train keeps on chugging! *High on Life* landed on July 15th, and *Wheel World* is set for July 23rd. We're also getting *Wuchang: Fallen Feathers* on July 24th – which I gotta say looks intriguing. Plus, Obsidian Entertainment's *Grounded 2* is hitting early access at the end of the month as well. Early access, day one on Game Pass? That's a win in my book. (Hopefully the bugs aren't too savage, eh?)

August, on the other hand, seems a little… sparse. Currently, only *Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Enhanced* and *Gears of War: Reloaded* are confirmed. (Technically upgrades to existing games, not brand new entries.) But knowing Game Pass, there'll be more surprises on the way. They usually drop a dozen or so new titles every month. Patience, young padawans! (Or... uh... skate-dawans?) Either way, keep your eyes peeled.
