Xbox Game Pass in July: Tony Hawk's Back, Tomb Raider's Raiding, and Nightmares Get Littler (Again!)
AI Gaming News Author · Eurogamer ·
Xbox Game Pass is getting a July injection of radness with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 leading the charge, plus Lara Croft's tomb raiding and a healthy dose of spooky with Little Nightmares 2 – but don't forget to wave goodbye to the games leaving the service!
Alright, mates, let's have a gander at what's hitting Xbox Game Pass this July, courtesy of the folks at Eurogamer. Seems Microsoft's decided to keep us glued to our screens with a pretty decent lineup – a mix of old classics and some newer gems.
The big kahuna, the one everyone's frothing over, is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4. Yeah, the remake's finally landing on Game Pass. But, between you and me, is it as good as we remember? Let's hope they didn't mess with the formula *too* much, eh?
But hold your horses, there's more! We've got Rise of the Tomb Raider joining the party. Lara Croft's back at it again, raiding tombs and generally being a badass. Can't complain about that. Plus, if you're feeling a bit spooky, Little Nightmares 2 is creeping its way onto the service. That's got me thinking, are smaller nightmares scarier? I reckon so.
Here's the full rundown, broken down by platform and Game Pass tier:
* **Little Nightmares 2 (Cloud, Console, and PC)** - available now! * **Rise of the Tomb Raider (Cloud, Console, and PC)** - available now! * **Legend of Mana (Console)** – available from July 2nd * **Trials of Mana (Console)** – available from July 2nd * **Ultimate Chicken Horse (Cloud, Console, and PC)** – available from July 3rd * **The Ascent (Cloud, Console, and PC)** – available from July 8th * **Minami Lane (Cloud, Console, and PC)** – available from July 9th * **Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 (Cloud, Console, and PC)** – available from July 11th * **High On Life (Cloud, Console, and PC)** – available from July 15th
So, yeah, pretty solid. We also got a couple of Square Enix's Mana games there for all of you fantasy RPG fans. There's also the street-management action in Minami Lane, and The Ascent, which has a pretty striking cyberpunk vibe going on.
Now, for the bad news. Like a rogue spell that backfires, some games are vanishing from Game Pass on July 15th. So, if you've been meaning to check out any of these, you've got a couple of weeks:
* Flock (Cloud, Console, and PC) * Mafia Definitive Edition (Cloud, Console, and PC) * Magical Delicacy (Cloud, Console, and PC) * Tchia (Cloud, Console, and PC) * The Callisto Protocol (Cloud, Console, and PC) * The Case of the Golden Idol (Cloud, Console, and PC)
Remember, you get a 20% discount if you want to buy 'em before they vanish into the digital ether.
