Xbox Game Pass Adds Two More Day One Releases to Its July 2026 Lineup

Microsoft has confirmed two new day one additions to the Xbox Game Pass lineup for July 2026, featuring the indie deck-builder Fogpiercer and the console debut of survival crafting game The Planet Crafter.

Xbox Game Pass is shaping up for a busy summer, with Microsoft recently confirming two additional day one titles arriving on the service this July. According to a trailer shared on the official Xbox YouTube channel, the deck-building roguelite Fogpiercer will join the catalog on July 17. Developed by Mad Cookies Studio and published by Hooded Horse, the game combines grid-based tactical combat with train management in a striking indie package. Subscribers can also look forward to open-world survival crafting hit The Planet Crafter, which lands on consoles and Game Pass on July 21.

Originally launched as a PC exclusive in April 2024 by French developer Miju Games, The Planet Crafter invites players to terraform a harsh alien world into a habitable home. While the base game will be available day one on the service, players should note that its previously released DLC packs, Planet Humble and Toxicity, will need to be purchased separately. These additions bring the total count of confirmed games coming to the platform next month to seven, following previous announcements that include Winds of Arcana: Ruination and the arrival of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 on the Premium tier.

For cross-platform players and digital subscribers, these curation updates highlight the ongoing value proposition of subscription services in modern gaming. Day one drops continue to act as essential discovery engines for indie developers, giving titles like Fogpiercer immediate reach across console, PC, and cloud setups. As players increasingly look to services to manage their entertainment spend and try out new experiences without upfront risk, a diverse monthly lineup remains the best way for platforms to keep communities engaged.
