World of Warcraft: Forever Is Facing Major Class Balance Issues in Beta

Beta testing for World of Warcraft: Forever reveals serious design flaws for the Warrior class, leaving Arms and Fury specializations at risk of being unplayable in the endgame.
World of Warcraft: Forever is taking an ambitious swing by mixing modern live-service systems with vanilla retro design and horizontal progression. However, community feedback from the ongoing beta highlights a critical problem for anyone planning to main a Warrior. According to insights shared by content creator Ahlaundoh, the Warrior class currently suffers from deeply flawed rage generation, an absence of free-to-cast abilities, and an excessively long cooldown on core utility skills like Recklessness.
While Protection Warriors manage to scrape by thanks to low-cost mitigation and passive rage generation through talents, Arms and Fury specializations are facing a grim endgame reality. Without the rage normalization seen in modern retail builds or reliable tools to generate resources during downtime, DPS Warriors risk becoming virtually unplayable. The situation is further aggravated by a thirty-minute cooldown on Recklessness, leaving players with very few options to smooth out their damage rotations when resources run dry.
Blizzard still has time to adjust class balances before the official release, but the lack of communication regarding these specific pain points has the community on edge. If the development team wants to capture both veteran MMO players and modern cross-platform fans, addressing these foundational spec issues will be essential. Otherwise, jumping into this new timeline as a Warrior might feel less like an epic adventure and more like a punishment.
