Where to Find Every Spark Container Upgrade in Mina the Hollower

A comprehensive guide detailing the locations of all spark container upgrades and the Spark Catcher trinket in Yacht Club Games' Mina the Hollower, originally reported by Polygon.
Yacht Club Games is back at it with Mina the Hollower, and if you are diving deep into the retro action adventure, you know how punishing those pit falls can be. Upgrading your spark containers will not turn you completely immortal, but it does lower the stakes when you take a tumble, saving your hard earned bones from vanishing upon death. Carrying extra spark stacks also makes it much easier to unlock those tricky silver and gold spark doors scattered across the map. According to a detailed guide by Marloes Valentina Stella over on Polygon, you can hunt down three main spark container upgrades and a bonus trinket to seriously boost your survival odds.
The first upgrade is mercifully straightforward and acts as an early game quality of life purchase. You can head straight to the Emporium item shop on the east side of the Ossex City Center and pick one up for 1,500 bones. From there, the hunt gets a bit more involved. The Mourner's Mile container requires you to track down a missing headless statue head, which means clearing the Spike Vault, defeating the Duchess, and solving a quick navigation puzzle with a couple of kears. The final standard upgrade hides away in the Wastewater Canal south of Septemburg, where you will need to crack open a secret wall and team up with Luxy to navigate a dimly lit platforming challenge.
Beyond those three container upgrades, you can also track down the Spark Catcher trinket to effectively add another container to your loadout. Exploring every nook and cranny of these zones pays off massively, especially when you are trying to maximize your resource management between tough boss fights. Check out the complete breakdown over at Polygon for all the visual references and step by step routing you need to clean out the map.
