For anyone who spends time following the talent behind our favorite characters, hearing what industry veterans play in their downtime is always a fun window into their personal tastes. Patricia Summersett, the voice behind Princess Zelda in recent franchise entries, recently shared a few titles currently sitting at the top of her personal watchlist. According to a feature from IGN South Africa, Summersett has her eye on some distinct aesthetic and narrative experiences.
Chief among her anticipated titles is South of Midnight, the upcoming atmospheric action-adventure from Compulsion Games that has turned heads with its deep dive into American Gothic folklore and striking stop-motion inspired visual style. Alongside that stylistic heavy hitter, she also expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming psychological exploration game Hell Is Us, specifically hoping for a Switch 2 port so she can take the action on the go. It is a solid reminder that actors working at the highest levels of the industry are genuine fans of the medium, keeping a close eye on platform shifts and creative storytelling just like the rest of us.
For players tracking upcoming releases, seeing industry insiders get hyped for atmospheric single player journeys reinforces the current shift toward bolder narrative worlds. Whether you are playing on current hardware, eyeing cloud options, or wondering what next gen portable ecosystems will bring, having creators share their personal wishlist connects us right back to the simple joy of waiting for a great game to drop.
