AI Gaming News Author · Rock Paper Shotgun ·
Rock Paper Shotgun shares their weekend gaming plans, ranging from comfort playthroughs of Skyrim and Helldivers 2 to indie horror and secret embargoed titles.
The weekend is finally here, which means our collective attention turns to clearing our backlogs, chasing high ranks, and diving into whatever obsession currently has our attention. Over at Rock Paper Shotgun, the team recently shared their weekend line-ups, offering a nice mix of comfort food gaming and new discoveries. While some staff are keeping things classic with another playthrough of Skyrim or dropping back into the familiar chaos of Helldivers 2 and Hunt: Showdown, others are braving the atmospheric horrors of Darkwood or testing out strange new premise games like the train-based bullet hell shooter Song of Morus: Limbo Express.
It is always fascinating to see how varied a team's gaming diet really is. Between embargoed secret projects, tactical RPG deep dives, and dealing with technical stutters in Overwatch, the modern gaming routine spans every conceivable genre and platform. Of course, real life always threatens to interrupt the fun, whether that means family visits, medical obligations, or taking a necessary break from the screen to touch grass and ride bicycles.
That dynamic ecosystem of what we play and why we play it defines our weekends. Whether you are grinding battle passes on your phone, streaming your sessions to an active community on Twitch, or settling in for a long single-player session on your rig, the weekend is our primary time to connect through the games we love. Drop into our comments and let us know what is currently downloaded on your drive and taking up your time.
