Leaked images reveal the upcoming LEGO Pokemon Rayquaza set featuring a Zinnia minifigure, arriving on August 1, 2026, as a traditional build without Smart Play integration.
First looks at the upcoming LEGO Pokemon Rayquaza set have surfaced online, giving fans a clear preview of what to expect from the summer wave. Scheduled to release on August 1, 2026, the new set features the legendary dragon alongside a Zinnia minifigure. Unlike several other recent releases in the collaboration, this builds as a traditional set without the controversial Smart Play integration that has divided parts of the community.
While the LEGO Pokemon partnership has been commercially massive, it has also faced challenges around availability and pricing. Earlier launches included the high-end six hundred and fifty dollar Kanto starter set, which saw promotional items immediately snapped up by scalpers on secondary marketplaces. The strong demand for physical merchandise often frustrates collectors trying to secure popular sets at retail value.
This new Rayquaza release arrives as a welcome relief for builders looking for a straightforward, display focused design. As physical merchandise continues to blend with modern gaming culture, drops like this remain essential collectible milestones for long-time fans.
