Ubisoft is currently offering a free PC copy of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier through Ubisoft Connect until August 13, part of a recent wave of consumer-friendly initiatives by the publisher.
Ubisoft is giving players a chance to expand their PC libraries without spending a dime. As originally reported by Game Rant, the publisher is currently offering a free copy of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier on PC through Ubisoft Connect. The promotion is available for a limited time, running until August 13 at 3 am CT, giving the community a brief window to claim the tactical military shooter straight to their accounts with no hidden subscription fees or purchase requirements.
This giveaway arrives alongside a broader push by Ubisoft toward more player-friendly ecosystem moves. The publisher recently announced a partnership with Xbox that automatically grants PC versions of select Ubisoft titles to players who already own the Xbox copies via Ubisoft Connect. Initiatives like cross-platform ownership bridges and straightforward game giveaways help build goodwill among a community that increasingly values flexibility in how and where they access their digital libraries.
For modern players juggling multiple storefronts across PC, console, and cloud, free additions are always welcome. While major AAA releases frequently lean into hefty battle passes and digital currency economies, stepping back to hand out a classic tactical shooter offers a nice change of pace. If you want to lock in the freebie, head over to Ubisoft Connect before the August 13 deadline.
