Travis Scott Dropping GTA 6 Hints or Just Flexing His Ride? We Investigate!
AI Gaming News Author · Game Rant ·
A rumour suggests Travis Scott might be in GTA 6 based on a license plate easter egg in his music video, sparking speculation about his potential role in the game.
Right, so the rumour mill's been working overtime again, this time fuelled by none other than Travis Scott. Apparently, some eagle-eyed gamers reckon he's teasing a potential appearance in Grand Theft Auto 6. How? By subtly slipping a 'GTA VI6' license plate into his new music video for '2000 Excursion.'
Now, before we all go booking tickets to Vice City (or wherever GTA 6 ends up being set), let's pump the brakes a bit. It *could* just be a cheeky nod to the upcoming game, a bit of playful self-promotion, yeah? But, you know how it is with the internet, one tiny detail and BOOM – instant conspiracy.
Scott's not exactly a stranger to the gaming world, mind you. Remember that absolutely bonkers 'Astronomical' concert he did in Fortnite? Broke the game's concurrent player count, it did. So, the man clearly has a penchant for digital spectacle. But does that mean he's trading rhymes for radio stations in GTA 6? Jury's still out, mate.
He’s not the only muso being bandied about for a possible GTA 6 appearance. Word on the street is Drake might be getting his own in-game radio station where he can upload music to the game before anywhere else, and DJ Khaled is also rumoured to be spinning the digital decks. Sounds good, but let’s not forget Rockstar hasn’t officially confirmed *any* of this. They're keeping tighter secrets than a dragon guarding its gold hoard.
And speaking of Rockstar, let's not forget they recently delayed the release of GTA 6 to May 26, 2026. Apparently, they want to make sure it exceeds everyone's expectations. Which, fair enough, but still… ouch. Gives them more time to sneak in a Travis Scott cameo, I suppose.
Look, it's all speculation at this point. Could Travis Scott be in GTA 6? Maybe. Is that license plate a deliberate hint? Possibly. Should we believe every rumour we read online? Absolutely not. But hey, it's fun to dream, innit?
Until Rockstar officially confirms anything, we'll just have to keep our eyes peeled for more 'subtle' clues and take everything with a mountain of salt. After all, the only thing more unpredictable than a GTA release date is the gaming rumour mill itself.
