IGN South Africa recently shared an extensive thirty-one minute gameplay video captured directly on a PlayStation 5 Pro, giving players a deep look at both Yakuza Kiwami 3 and the brand-new companion experience, Dark Ties.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 is shaping up to be a thorough rebuilding of the classic action-adventure beat 'em up, following former yakuza Kazuma Kiryu as he fights to protect his loved ones. Alongside the main remake, Dark Ties introduces a separate, action-packed campaign centered on Yoshitaka Mine. The newly released footage highlights the familiar mix of intense combat, dynamic environments, and lighter side activities like karaoke that define the franchise.
Running on Sony's upgraded hardware, the footage demonstrates how modern visual enhancements bring extra polish to the gritty underworld of Kamurocho and beyond. As streaming creators and community hubs begin breaking down every detail of the footage, this showcase gives players plenty to analyze regarding combat mechanics and visual performance ahead of launch.
