As anticipation builds for the next generation of creature collecting on Nintendo's successor hardware, Game Freak is slowly pulling back the curtain on the roster for Pokemon Winds and Waves. Naturally, the latest Switch 2 titles are bringing back a massive wave of familiar favorites alongside brand-new regional variants, striking that delicate balance between nostalgic comfort and fresh discovery that keeps the community theorycrafting for months before launch.
