The Division Resurgence Finally Locks Down a March Release Date for Mobile

Ubisoft announced that The Division Resurgence will launch on iOS and Android on March 31, bringing the tactical loot shooter to mobile alongside new roadmap updates for The Division 2.

Ubisoft has officially given Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence a concrete release date, with the free-to-play mobile spinoff set to launch on iOS and Android devices on March 31. Revealed during the franchise's tenth-anniversary stream, the arrival ends a long wait following a 2024 delay and subsequent closed testing phases late last year. Players who pre-register ahead of launch will secure exclusive gold weapon skins to kick off their time in the pandemic-ravaged streets of Manhattan.

The game drops players into a familiar third-person loot shooter loop, picking up shortly after the events of the original game as your agent wakes from a monthlong coma in New York City. For cross-platform players and mobile-first gamers alike, bringing a full-fledged Tom Clancy experience to phones is a significant expansion for the franchise, especially given the series' history with foundational loot mechanics and early extraction shooter DNA. While the cancelled Heartland project disappointed fans looking for a fresh spin, Resurgence aims to deliver the core tactical combat of the mainline games directly to mobile screens.

Ubisoft also used the anniversary stream to outline plans for the wider franchise, including upcoming Central Park DLC for The Division 2 and playtests for a dedicated extraction mode called Survivors later this year. In the meantime, The Division 2 is running a tenth-anniversary season through March 24 featuring a realism mode with a reduced time-to-kill, alongside free access to the Warlords of New York expansion.
