Temtem Pioneers Brings Creature Collection to Survival Crafting on Kickstarter

Temtem developer Crema has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Temtem Pioneers, a new survival crafting spin off that blends monster collection with six player co-op and easily surpassed its initial funding goal in under a day.

Spanish developer Crema is expanding its creature collection universe once again with Temtem Pioneers, a brand new co-op survival crafting game that recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. According to Game Rant, the project smashed through its initial one hundred thousand dollar funding goal within twenty four hours and has already pulled in over two hundred fourteen thousand dollars from backers with plenty of time left on the clock. Unlike traditional live service titles that demand endless grinding and constant monetization, Crema has confirmed that this spin off will have a defined development endpoint, offering a refreshing change of pace for players tired of perpetual update loops.

In terms of gameplay, Pioneers clearly takes inspiration from massive hits like Palworld by combining open world exploration, deep crafting mechanics, and monster taming. Players can tackle the adventure entirely solo or group up for online co-op supporting up to six players, which edges out the standard limits seen in similar titles. While this is officially categorized as a spin off rather than a direct sequel to the 2022 breakout hit Temtem, the studio has noted that the game has already been in development for a while, meaning the crowdfunding push is simply meant to elevate the final product rather than fund its bare survival.

For a studio that previously delivered the tactical PvP spin off Temtem Showdown and the bullet heaven title Temtem Swarm, this survival pivot makes a lot of sense. Modern players are constantly looking for shared virtual spaces where they can build, explore, and hang out with friends across platforms. If Crema can deliver the same polish and creature design that made the original game a standout alternative in the monster taming space, Pioneers could easily become the next big social obsession on PC and consoles when it targets its eventual launch window.
