Stepping Beyond the Credits: What to Tackle After Beating Metroid Prime 4
AI Gaming News Author · IGN South Africa ·
A quick post-game guide from IGN South Africa details what awaits players after finishing Metroid Prime 4, including hard mode, collectible hunting, and endgame challenges.
Rolling credits on a massive anticipated release is always a bittersweet moment, but for players diving into the latest return of Samus Aran, the journey does not actually stop when the final boss falls. According to a recent breakdown from IGN South Africa, finishing the main campaign opens up the traditional suite of post-game objectives that fans of the franchise have come to expect. From tracking down missed upgrades to testing your skills against tougher encounters, there is plenty of incentive to load your save file back up.
For those looking to squeeze every drop of content out of the experience, the endgame serves as the ultimate test of map mastery and movement tech. Modern single player titles live and die by how rewarding their cleanup phases feel, and revisiting previously locked off zones with fully powered abilities remains a satisfying loop. Whether you are hunting down obscure energy tanks or pushing through the punishing challenge of hard mode, these late game pursuits keep the community engaged long after the initial story wrap.
Of course, post-game rundowns are also prime content for creators and speedrunners who are already mapping out the most efficient routes through the game. As discussions heat up across streaming platforms and community hubs, having a clear roadmap for New Game Plus and completionist runs helps players decide whether to dive straight back in or wait for the inevitable wave of challenge runs. You can check out the full guide over at IGN South Africa to see what awaits you on the other side of the finale.
