PC players can add Yet Another Zombie Defense HD to their Steam libraries for free until July 30, offering a quick cooperative survival experience for anyone looking to expand their backlog.
If you are looking to pad out your PC library without spending a dime, a new Steam promotion has you covered. As spotted by Game Rant, players have until July 30 to claim Yet Another Zombie Defense HD completely free of charge. Originally developed as a top-down tactical shooter with heavy tower defense elements, the game lets players build up defenses by day and fight off relentless undead hordes by night. It also supports cooperative multiplayer, making it a fun, low-stakes option for a casual game night with friends.
Free-to-keep promotions like this are a great reminder of how digital storefronts continue to offer low-barrier entry points for players across PC. While the live service market often dominates headlines with expensive battle passes and continuous monetization, grabbing older indie titles on Steam remains one of the best ways to discover hidden gems or stock up on couch co-op options for the weekend. Plus, adding it to your Steam library costs nothing and permanently secures the license before the deadline hits at the end of the month.
To lock in the freebie, simply head over to the Steam store page for Yet Another Zombie Defense HD before July 30 and click the add to account button. Whether you plan to dive into the undead survival action immediately or just let it sit comfortably in your backlog for a rainy day, it is an easy win for your digital shelf.
