Steam is offering a free play period for three diverse titles, including Super Battle Golf, Empyrion - Galactic Survival, and MindsEye, available to test at no cost until July 20 with accompanying purchase discounts.
Valve is giving players a solid reason to clear their weekend schedules, rolling out a fresh batch of completely free trials on Steam that run through July 20. While these titles are standard time-limited access periods rather than permanent additions to your library, the selection offers something for every mood. Headlining the lineup is Super Battle Golf, a chaotic co-op experience that is practically built for group Discord calls and spontaneous weekend game nights. If you prefer something more immersive, the promotion also includes the gritty sci-fi action adventure MindsEye and the notoriously demanding open-world space survival crafting game Empyrion - Galactic Survival.
For players hesitant to drop cash on a blind buy, these limited-time windows continue to be one of the best consumer-friendly features on PC. Instead of relying solely on creator streams or curated reviews to gauge a game, you can jump in and test the mechanics yourself. Empyrion gives you a handful of days to grapple with its brutal survival loops and alien threats, while Super Battle Golf offers immediate, pick-up-and-play arcade fun that requires zero onboarding time with friends.
Naturally, Valve and the respective developers are pairing the trial with deep temporary discounts for anyone who wants to permanently own the software once the promotion wraps up on July 20. Whether you are looking to kill a few hours with a lightweight party game or dive deep into a complex crafting sandbox, this current Steam lineup provides an easy excuse to test drive something new before the next wave of summer releases drops. As originally reported by Game Rant, you can grab all three titles directly through the Steam client right now.
