The Star Wars universe is leaning further into animation with a brand new series titled Star Wars: Visions Presents - The Ninth Jedi. Originally introduced as a standout short film in the first volume of Star Wars: Visions, the concept is now expanding into a full episodic run distributed by Disney. Fans who connected with the distinct visual style and creative risks of the original anthology piece now have a dedicated series to look forward to exploring.

While details on the exact release schedule remain limited, the official trailer gives a clear look at the signature lightsaber action and atmospheric world-building that made the original short a fan favorite.
