Solving the Construction Elevator Puzzle in Silent Hill: Townfall

Polygon's latest guide details how to locate the power generator key and solve the puzzle to activate the construction elevator in Silent Hill: Townfall.

Getting past the parking lot in Silent Hill: Townfall requires figuring out how to power up the construction elevator during the Richard: Getting Inside mission. As reported by Polygon, players need to track down a missing generator key before they can even think about tackling the machinery. Head through the garage door of the nearby building and make your way upstairs to the manager office. Inside, you will find the key waiting in a grey cabinet next to the door, while any local monsters will conveniently clear out of your way.

Once you have the key in hand, return to the yellow power generator outside and insert it to get things started. Pulling the initial handle on the left will trigger an error message, which means you need to investigate the back of the unit by following the thick cable. There you will find three handles controlling different lines of power.

Testing all three handles reveals that only line C results in a solid green light, while the other two lines simply flicker. To solve the puzzle and get the construction elevator moving, leave the left and middle handles in the upward position and pull the handle on the right. This powers up the lift and lets you finally break into CEG Headquarters to progress through the story.
