Solasta 2 Details Full Class Lineup Ahead of March Early Access Launch

Tactical Adventures has revealed the full class and subclass lineup for Solasta 2 ahead of its March early access launch on PC, detailing new mechanical updates based on the 2024 tabletop ruleset.

Tactical Adventures is ramping up anticipation for its upcoming tactical RPG, Solasta 2, by revealing the complete roster of classes and subclasses arriving with its early access launch this March. As reported by Polygon, the sequel builds on the strict tabletop adherence that made the original game a cult favorite among hardcore strategy fans, while updating the foundation to incorporate the revised 2024 ruleset. Players stepping into the new campaign will assemble a party of four adventurers and head to the island of Neokos to untangle a narrative driven by family legacy and a spreading corruption known as Shadwyn.

The early access build will feature six distinct classes, each branching into specialized subclasses designed to alter how you approach grid-based combat. The Fighter class gains new versatility through D and D's updated Weapon Masteries alongside subclasses like the tactical Commander and the half-casting Aether Warden. Spellcasters get plenty of options too, with Wizards choosing between the raw offense of the School of Ruin and the defensive utility of the Court Mage. Rogues can dabble in magic via the Shadowcaster, while Paladins receive defensive and offensive paths through the Oath of Liberation and Oath of Judgment respectively. Rounding out the roster, Sorcerers and Clerics bring classic healing, buffing, and high-damage output through subclasses like Star Child, Life, Oblivion, and Battle.

Beyond mechanical depth, the development team is leaning into top tier production values to elevate the experience. Solasta 2 features a stellar voice cast including industry favorites Amelia Tyler and Devora Wilde, both well known for their standout performances in Baldur's Gate 3. While the first game occasionally lived in the shadow of its massive contemporary, this sequel introduces more freedom to roam the environment alongside its deep tactical systems, making it a major project to watch for strategy enthusiasts when it hits early access this spring.
