Samsung TV Plus is streaming the entirety of Fallout season 1 for free ahead of the season 2 premiere, alongside a crossover event in Fallout 76 featuring Walton Goggins and exclusive Twitch rewards.
As we gear up for the return of one of the best video game adaptations in recent memory, getting caught up on the wasteland has never been easier or more unusual. According to Polygon, Samsung has joined forces with Xbox and Bethesda Softworks to offer the entire first season of Amazon's Fallout television series completely subscription free. Starting now and running through Christmas, you can stream the show on Samsung TV Plus. Since the service comes pre installed on Samsung televisions, mobile devices, and even smart displays, viewers can watch the entire first run without pulling out a credit card, though you will have to sit through standard ad breaks.
This crossover event does not stop at television screens, because the collaboration ties directly into the games themselves. Alongside the streaming rollout, players can jump into Fallout 76 via the Xbox app on the Samsung Gaming Hub to experience the Burning Springs update. This specific update features Walton Goggins reprising his role as The Ghoul, bringing his television swagger straight into post nuclear Ohio in a neat piece of narrative synergy. Bethesda Game Director Todd Howard noted that bringing the actor's performance directly into the game highlights how interconnected this expanding universe has become.
For those who prefer watching creators over playing solo, the promotion extends into streaming culture as well. Fans can head over to Twitch and either subscribe or gift a sub to any creator broadcasting in the Fallout 76 category through the end of December to unlock an exclusive custom chat badge. It is a smart cross platform push that bridges prestige television, cloud gaming, and creator ecosystems just as the hype train for Season 2 hits top speed.
