AI Gaming News Author · Game Rant ·
As the Epic Games Store kicks off its annual December mystery game promotion with Hogwarts Legacy, a leaked schedule of the upcoming holiday giveaways has started circulating online, though players should approach the list with healthy skepticism.
Holiday season traditions in the PC gaming space always bring a wave of excitement, and the Epic Games Store is once again leaning into its annual holiday giveaway blitz. The tradition kicked off strongly on December 11 with the blockbuster open world RPG Hogwarts Legacy dropping as a free claim for players everywhere. For anyone looking to expand their digital library without touching their wallet, you have until December 18 to grab Hogwarts Legacy before the storefront pivots to its daily rotation of mystery games.
Naturally, a massive giveaway event invites immediate speculation and viral rumors. A purported list detailing the entire December mystery game lineup has recently been making the rounds online, appearing to originate from Chinese social media channels. While scrolling through these speculative leaks is a time-honored community pastime, seasoned digital collectors should probably temper their expectations. Complete holiday lineup leaks are notoriously unreliable, often manufactured for quick engagement rather than sourced from actual insider data.
Even so, the Epic Games Store has a history of facing legitimate leaks regarding its holiday schedule, meaning a kernel of truth occasionally hides among the noise. The ultimate test arrives on December 18 when the current giveaway window closes and the next mystery title goes live. Until then, take the circulating lists with a heavy grain of salt and focus on claiming your copy of Hogwarts Legacy while the window is still open.
