Stormind Games announces remastered editions for survival horror titles Remothered: Tormented Fathers and Remothered: Broken Porcelain, complete with an official announcement trailer featured by IGN South Africa.
Survival horror fans have a new reason to test their nerves. Stormind Games has officially announced remastered versions for both Remothered: Tormented Fathers and Remothered: Broken Porcelain. Originally carving out a dedicated space for psychological scares and tense stealth gameplay, the series is now getting a technical polish for modern hardware. IGN South Africa recently debuted the official announcement trailer, giving players a first look at how these updated atmospheric nightmares will run on current systems.
For those who missed these titles during their initial runs, the Remothered games lean heavily into narrative driven dread, resource management, and relentless pursuers that keep players constantly on edge. Tormented Fathers introduced gamers to the haunting Rosemary Reed and her investigation into a missing girl, while Broken Porcelain served as both prequel and sequel, expanding the lore and tweaking the survival mechanics. Revisiting these projects gives developers a chance to smooth out some of the technical rough edges that frustrated players at launch, making this a great entry point for newcomers or a solid excuse for horror veterans to dive back in.
As the survival horror genre continues to enjoy a massive resurgence across console, PC, and cloud platforms, bringing older cult favorites up to modern standards is becoming standard practice. Players today expect smooth performance and sharp visual fidelity, especially when horror relies so heavily on lighting and atmosphere to land its scares. Keep an eye on how these remasters shape up as Stormind Games rolls out more details ahead of launch, and check out the original coverage over at IGN South Africa to watch the trailer.
