Red Dead Online Brings Back Spooky Seasonal Rewards for Halloween

Red Dead Online is celebrating Halloween with quadruple payouts on select missions, triple rewards on Call to Arms modes, and the return of Halloween Pass 2.

Rockstar Games is giving players fresh incentives to head back to the frontier just in time for October. Red Dead Online is rolling out its latest seasonal event, running from October 6 through November 2, bringing back fan favorite limited time content to keep the massive open world feeling alive. The desolate settlements and eerie stranger missions of the Wild West make a fitting backdrop for the spooky celebration, offering active communities a reason to jump back in.

According to coverage from Game Rant and community tracking via iRedDead, the update leans heavily into progression boosts for dedicated players. Fans can earn quadruple RDO dollars, Gold, and XP through Strange Tales of the West Telegram Missions, while All Hallows Call to Arms is dishing out triple payouts across the board. Naturalist sample sales and featured series modes are also seeing major reward multipliers to help players grind out their progression tracks.

On top of the currency and XP bonuses, the community requested Halloween Pass 2 is making its return. This gives players another chance to unlock previously released cosmetic items and seasonal rewards that might have slipped past them during earlier runs, proving that live service models can still deliver value when bringing back legacy content for active players.
