Netflix announces a December 10 global release date and new trailer for Record of Ragnarok season 3, featuring fresh roster additions and a new opening theme by GLAY.
Netflix is gearing up for the next major chapter of divine brawls, dropping a brand new trailer and release date for Record of Ragnarok season 3. The high stakes tournament anime returns worldwide on December 10, bringing fans right back into the brutal 13-round war between humanity's greatest historical figures and the gods. This upcoming batch of episodes is set to break a tense three-all tie, making every single match critical for the survival of mankind.
The latest preview gives audiences a solid look at some heavy hitters joining the roster. Characters like Nostradamus, Kintoki, and Siegfried are stepping into the spotlight, alongside a tense tease of the impending clash between Buddha and Odin. Voice actor Shun Horie is officially joining the cast as Nostradamus, rounding out an ensemble that continues to turn myth and history into high-octane spectacle. Fans can also expect a new opening theme titled Dead or Alive by Japanese rock band GLAY, which leans into the morally grey conflicts driving the plot.
For a series that relies entirely on over-the-top, one-on-one showdowns, season 3 looks ready to deliver the exact brand of chaotic entertainment that anime fans love to binge and clip for social feeds. As streaming platforms continue to double down on major anime properties to capture Gen Z and millennial viewers, Record of Ragnarok remains a reliable anchor for action lovers.
