Ranking the Five Weirdest Little Guys in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave

A breakdown of the five most bizarre and eccentric recruitable characters in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, ranging from delusional bandits to tragic goths.
Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave leans into a more grounded overall roster than its recent predecessors, but Intelligent Systems still made sure to pack the game with plenty of absolute goofballs. As Polygon highlights in their recent character breakdown, these oddballs usually hide deep tragedies behind their bizarre behavior, making them unforgettable additions to your party. Taking the number five spot is Jester, a bloodthirsty fop whose theatrical battle lines point to some serious secret regret. Meanwhile, characters like Ninae bring a sleepy, goth energy to the camp, chatting with unseen spirits and obsessing over the goddess of death while hiding a genuinely moving backstory.
Moving up the list, Halvin delivers some of the funniest dissonance in the tactical RPG by screaming in absolute terror and begging you to heal her right after she puts an arrow through an enemy from a mile away. Fabio takes fourth place for leaning hard into an emo aesthetic while casually enjoying hobbies like dissecting beautiful things, striking the exact vibe of that one creepy kid from high school. Despite his strong scientific background, his fashion choices and complaints about the sun feel entirely stuck in the mid-2000s.
Taking the crown at number one is Majide, an inept bandit whose delusions of grandeur are matched only by his truly abysmal stats and growth rates. His personal ability lowers his dodge rate to boost attack power, which sounds great in theory until you realize his dexterity and hit rates are so low that he practically swings backward. It is a masterclass in designing a delightfully useless unit, and his complete lack of self-awareness makes him the ultimate weird little guy in the entire roster.
