PowerWash Simulator 2 is getting a Star Wars expansion on July 16, 2026, letting players clean iconic locations like Hoth and the Lars Homestead as a labor droid.
If you have ever wanted to hose down an X-wing or blast the grime off the Lars Homestead, your time is almost here. Developer announcements from IGN Live reveal that PowerWash Simulator 2 is launching a massive Star Wars crossover pack on July 16, 2026. Players will be able to tackle intergalactic cleanup jobs across current generation consoles including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and even the recently announced Nintendo Switch 2.
Set firmly during the events of the original trilogy, the expansion puts players in the chassis of a class five labor droid named P0-W2. Equipped with a specially designed power washer, you will visit six iconic locations pulled straight from the films, ranging from the snowy wastes of Hoth to the dusty deserts of Tatooine. Highlights from the trailer include detailed scrubbing sessions on the Super Star Destroyer Bridge and other legendary franchise set pieces.
This kind of crossover continues a strong trend for the relaxation genre, turning what used to be simple solo chores into prime streaming content and social hangout material. It gives creators plenty of chaotic roleplay opportunities while offering fans a satisfying way to engage with a beloved universe. As digital economies and themed add-ons become the standard way to keep games fresh, targeted expansions like this prove that sometimes the best innovation is just letting us clean iconic sci-fi messes with a high pressure hose.
