Pokemon Pokopia Kicks Off Its First Halloween Event With Spooky Mechanics

Pokemon Pokopia is launching its first Halloween event from October 17 to November 1, featuring themed currency mechanics, exclusive furniture, and special Pokemon to summon.

As reported by Polygon, Pokemon Pokopia is diving headfirst into the spooky season with its very first themed Halloween event. Running from October 17 through November 1, the update introduces a fresh gameplay loop that breaks up the usual routine. Players will chat with Pumpkaboo outside the freshly decorated Pokemon Center to kick things off, diving into a world of seasonal goods and limited-time rewards.

To score the event currency, players have to get creative by utilizing Zorua's Camouflage ability. By transforming into objects that attract passing Pokemon and surprising them when they approach, players earn candy to trade for exclusive Halloween items. It is a fun gameplay twist that adds a bit of interactive flair to the usual hub management.

Collecting these seasonal items is about more than just aesthetics. Players can use the new decor to build custom habitats capable of summoning Gourgeist. Bringing both Pumpkaboo and its evolution into town gives the community a great excuse to log in, clear some space on their islands, and share their spooky setups across social feeds.
