The Pokemon Company is releasing a physical Nintendo Switch 2 bundle for Pokemon Legends: Z-A this October, combining the base game and the Mega Dimension expansion on a single cartridge.
The Pokemon Company is packaging its biggest modern releases together just in time for the holiday shopping season. A physical Switch 2 edition of Pokemon Legends: Z-A is launching on October 29, and it comes complete with the Mega Dimension expansion right on the cartridge. While the game cartridge remains backward compatible with original Switch hardware, the bundle clearly targets players ready to experience the enhanced version on Nintendo's newer console.
For players who held off on the initial digital expansion, this physical release packages the base game and the Hoopa portal adventures in one box. Mega Dimension introduced high level cap combat past level 100 alongside fresh Mega Evolutions for fan favorite species like Darkrai, Magearna, and Baxcalibur. Early buyers will also receive an in-game bonus of 100 Ultra Balls to kickstart their collection runs.
As reported by IGN South Africa, this holiday re-release helps bridge the gap while the community awaits the next generation of games arriving exclusively on Switch 2. With attention already shifting toward future franchise releases and rumored classic remakes, this complete physical package offers a solid entry point for players looking to dive into Lumiose City with all current content intact.
