Pokemon fans looking for their next streaming binge will not have to wait much longer for the ongoing animated series to return. Polygon reports that Season 4 of Pokemon Horizons, officially titled Wonders Ahead, is set to premiere on Netflix in the United States on February 27, 2027. Following the conclusion of Season 3 in September, the next batch of episodes will continue the adventures of new protagonists Liko and Roy as they explore regions beyond the classic Kojo formula.
Since launching in 2023, the series has carved out a distinct identity by moving away from Ash Ketchum and focusing on new trainers paired with Gen 9 starter Pokemon Sprigatito and Fuecoco, alongside the fan favorite Captain Pikachu. According to the official synopsis for the upcoming season, the narrative will follow the duo as they encounter unconventional Pokemon, investigate unique sleep styles, and cross paths with Legendary creatures, all while dealing with a stowaway Ditto joining the cast.
As with previous chapters, this new season will roll out in separate parts on the streaming platform rather than dropping all at once, keeping community watch parties and weekly discussions active for the fandom. For a franchise that continues to dominate everything from trading card market records to modern gaming ecosystems, the steady cadence of cross-media releases ensures that players have fresh content to enjoy between major console drops.
