Pokemon GO Sets Sights on Zorua for October Community Day

Pokemon GO is bringing Zorua to the forefront for its October Community Day on October 10, featuring boosted Shiny rates, exclusive moves, and extended Lure Module bonuses.
Game Rant reports that Pokemon GO is lining up Zorua for its upcoming October Community Day. Set for Saturday, October 10 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, the event puts the spotlight squarely on the tricky Unova favorite. Players who evolve their Zorua during the event or up to four hours afterward will secure a Zoroark equipped with the Fast Attack Sucker Punch. Alongside the usual bump in Shiny spawn rates, participants can look forward to traditional Community Day perks like triple catch XP, double catch Candy, and increased XL Candy drops for players above level 31.
Because Zorua spawns on the map disguised as the player's active Buddy Pokemon, the developer is keeping things streamlined by leaving the Hisuian regional variant out of the mix to avoid map confusion. Standard Incense will last for three hours, and Lure Modules will run for an hour. For players who cannot make the core three-hour window, Lure Modules will continue spawning Zorua with event-boosted Shiny and special background rates for an additional five hours until 10:00 PM local time.
This upcoming event forms a key part of the current Twilight Trails season, which runs until December 1. With the mobile AR hit continuing to drive massive local player meetups and community engagement, events like this remain a vital weekend staple for players looking to top off their rosters and grind out resources for competitive play.
