PlayStation Plus Lines Up Ten Major Additions Across August and September

Sony has detailed ten upcoming games heading to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers across August and September, featuring major titles like Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, Vampire Survivors, and RuneScape: Dragonwilds.

Subscription services live and die by their variety, and Sony is leaning hard into that philosophy for the late summer rollout. According to reporting by Joshua Duckworth at GameRant, PlayStation Plus has confirmed ten upcoming titles hitting the Extra and Premium tiers between August and September 2026. This wave follows right on the heels of Helldivers 2 joining the service alongside its major Illuminate update, keeping momentum high for subscribers.

The August lineup kicks off on August 18 with some heavy hitters for Extra subscribers, including the massive historical open-world RPG Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and the genre-defining roguelike phenomenon Vampire Survivors. Retro and classic fans also get a win on August 18 with the addition of Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams and Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire heading to the Premium tier.

The drops continue on August 25 with a diverse mix of genres for Extra members. Players can dive into the gritty shooter action of Metro Exodus, the zombie survival mechanics of Dying Light 2, the quirky management sim Two Point Museum, the chaotic multiplayer fun of Umamusume Pretty Derby: Party Dash, and the atmospheric adventure Hell is Us. It is worth noting that Hell is Us and Two Point Museum are skipping the PS4 entirely, making them current-gen exclusives for the service.

Looking just ahead to September, Sony has already locked in its first day-one Extra release. RuneScape: Dragonwilds arrives on September 15 for its 1.0 and PS5 launch. Bringing the beloved MMO universe into the open-world survival-crafting genre for its first console appearance, the game supports solo play and four-player co-op as players explore the continent of Ashenfall.

For players juggling multiple platforms and battle passes, a monthly drop of this scale is a welcome value add. With everything from management sims to massive RPGs on the schedule, the service continues to offer a reliable safety net for gamers looking to try new experiences without paying full price.
