PlayStation Plus is Lining Up a Massive Wave of Additions for August

PlayStation Plus is rolling out a heavy wave of games on August 18, headlined by Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Vampire Survivors, with several more titles arriving later in the month.
PlayStation Plus subscribers have a packed lineup ahead of them this month. Sony is continuing its trend of spreading out catalog drops across the month rather than dumping everything on a single day. This rollout strategy means players have rolling content updates to look forward to on both the Extra and Premium tiers.
The next major drop arrives on Tuesday, August 18, bringing four distinct titles to the service. Extra subscribers are getting two major heavy hitters. The first is Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, the critically acclaimed medieval RPG that earned a Game of the Year nomination at the 2025 Game Awards. The second is Vampire Survivors, the runaway bullet heaven phenomenon featuring an endlessly addictive gameplay loop and great co-op options.
Meanwhile, the Premium tier is adding two classic titles alongside the Extra catalog drops. Players can dive into the nostalgic PS1 platformer Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, alongside Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams for the PS2. The arrival of Onimusha is timed well, landing just weeks ahead of the upcoming launch of Onimusha: Way of the Sword on PS5.
This follows recent additions to the service, including the live service co-op shooter Helldivers 2, which arrived on the Extra tier earlier in the month to help drive fresh player counts. The August schedule does not stop there. Another major update is locked in for August 25, which will bring Dying Light 2, Hell is Us, Metro Exodus, Two Point Museum, and Umamusume Pretty Derby to the Extra tier.
