Sony has revealed the June 16 PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium lineup, featuring major titles like Final Fantasy 16, Sonic X Shadow Generations, and Kingdom Come: Deliverance alongside early access to the Destiny 2 Legacy Collection.
Sony has officially pulled back the curtain on the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions arriving on June 16, and the upcoming batch brings some heavy hitters to the catalog. According to a report by Joshua Duckworth over at Game Rant, the headline acts include Final Fantasy 16, Sonic X Shadow Generations, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire, and Black Desert. Subscribers also get early access to the Destiny 2 Legacy Collection, which dropped on June 9 and packs in a massive chunk of expansions and dungeons for anyone looking to jump back into the grind.
Looking closer at the lineup, these additions feel strategically curated rather than randomly tossed together. Bringing in Kingdom Come: Deliverance makes total sense while the sequel commands attention and the developers tackle a Lord of the Rings open-world project. Similarly, Sonic X Shadow Generations arrives as a timely nod to broader Sonic momentum, and Black Desert loops in players ahead of upcoming franchise heavyweights. For the retro and rhythm crowd, the classic Gitaroo Man hits the Premium tier on June 16 as the sole retro addition of the month.
For cross-platform players juggling multiple subscriptions and battle passes, these mid-month drops remain one of the best ways to tackle major single-player experiences without dropping full price on backlog titles. Drops like Life is Strange: Double Exposure give narrative fans a great excuse to catch up on recent episodic journeys, while titles like Farming Simulator 25 offer that steady, community-driven loop that works so well on modern hardware. Check out the original reporting on Game Rant to see the full breakdown of how these tiers stack up.
