Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog additions for August 2026, featuring major titles like Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Helldivers 2, and Hell is Us.
Sony is refreshing the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers with a remarkably strong lineup for August 2026, headlined by some major titles from recent years. According to reporting by Austin Manchester over at Polygon, subscribers are getting access to a stacked group of games that includes Warhorse Studios' massive medieval RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Released in early 2025 to heavy critical acclaim and Game of the Year contention, the sequel brings players back to 15th-century Europe as Henry of Skalitz while successfully opening the doors for newcomers who skipped the original release.
The August drop also features some heavy hitters in the cooperative space alongside the massive single-player experience. Helldivers 2 has officially rolled out for US subscribers in the catalog, giving more players a chance to jump into the ongoing galactic war effort. Other notable additions heading to the service starting August 18 include Hell is Us and the endlessly replayable Vampire Survivors, meaning there is plenty of variety for players looking to sink hours into something new without buying a standalone copy.
For anyone juggling multiple platforms and subscriptions, catalog drops like this remain the best value proposition in traditional gaming. Sony continues to position its higher subscription tiers as a direct counterpart to Xbox Game Pass, ensuring that players who prefer renting and exploring large libraries over permanent digital ownership have a steady stream of content.
