The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium games for July 15, including Rise of the Ronin, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, have leaked ahead of the official announcement, as reported by Game Rant.
Subscription service roadmaps rarely stay secret for long. According to a recent report by Game Rant, the upcoming PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium additions have leaked ahead of schedule, giving players an early look at what to expect on July 15. While Sony typically maintains strict control over its monthly announcements, community sleuths and early directory updates have once again bypassed the official schedule. For players juggling multiple platforms and tight gaming budgets, getting a sneak peek at incoming catalog drops helps with planning what to download next.
The leaked lineup points to a mix of major recent releases and a blast from the past for retro enthusiasts. Headlining the Extra tier are heavy hitters like Rise of the Ronin and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, giving players who skipped these open world adventures at launch a chance to jump in without paying full price. Meanwhile, the Classics catalog for Premium subscribers is set to feature Psi Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, offering a nostalgic nod to cult classic PS2 action. These additions continue Sony's push to keep subscription value high, especially as competition between game pass services heats up across console and PC ecosystems.
Leaks like this highlight the constant demand for transparency in modern digital subscription models. Players want to know their monthly spend is actually yielding high value, particularly when battle passes, microtransactions, and multiple gaming subscriptions compete for wallet share. Keeping an eye on these drops lets the community weigh whether to clear hard drive space or dive straight into a new download as soon as the servers update. Head over to Game Rant for the full breakdown of the leaked July 15 lineup.
