Sony has added four new games to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers for July 2026, led by Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and classic titles like Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy.
Sony is continuing its rollout for PlayStation Plus this month with a fresh wave of titles hitting the Extra and Premium tiers. According to a report by Game Rant, the subscription service has just added four more games to its catalog, building on a release schedule that started earlier in July with Team Ninja's open-world soulslike, Rise of the Ronin.
The latest batch of additions brings a mix of modern AAA production and classic nostalgia to subscribers. Extra-tier members can now dive into Ubisoft's open-world adventure Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora alongside Firefighting Simulator: Ignite. Meanwhile, the Premium tier gets a nod to gaming history with the inclusion of older titles Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy and Indigo Prophecy.
This staggered release strategy represents a noticeable shift in how subscription services manage content pacing. Instead of dropping an entire month of games on a single day, Sony is spreading out updates to keep players engaged across multiple weeks. For subscribers balancing heavy multiplayer live service rotations with single-player backlog goals, these rolling content drops make the subscription feel active rather than front-loaded. Another wave of games is already scheduled to arrive before the month wraps up.
