Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup for April 2026, featuring Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream available for download starting April 7.
Sony has officially revealed the monthly selection of titles heading to PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers for April 2026. According to a report by Michael McWhertor over at Polygon, members will be able to claim three distinct games starting Tuesday, April 7. The lineup includes the dark fantasy action role-playing game Lords of the Fallen, the nostalgia-packed Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered, and the multiplayer-focused Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream. Subscribers have until May 4 to add these titles to their digital libraries.
Leading the charge for PS5 owners is Hexworks and CI Games' 2023 Soulslike, Lords of the Fallen, which challenges players to navigate dual realms of the living and the dead. For fans of classic action-adventure, Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered brings Lara Croft's iconic early outings to PS4 and PS5 with upgraded visuals and modernized control options. Rounding out the trio is Bandai Namco and Dimps Corporation's Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, an online co-op action RPG featuring a massive roster of twenty-one playable characters.
Subscription services like PlayStation Plus remain a core part of how modern players discover new titles and maintain their digital libraries without breaking the bank. While the Essential tier continues to provide its baseline offerings of online multiplayer access and monthly drops, players still have a short window until April 6 to grab March's games, which include Monster Hunter Rise and Slime Rancher 2.
