PlayStation Plus Adds RuneScape: Dragonwilds and WWE 2K26 in Latest September Wave

Sony has added four new games to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers, led by the console debut of RuneScape: Dragonwilds and WWE 2K26.

PlayStation Plus is keeping its catalog fresh this month with a brand-new batch of titles hitting the Extra and Premium tiers. Reported originally by Game Rant, the mid-September update brings four distinct games to Sony's subscription service, headlined by a major day-one console release and a massive sports entertainment blockbuster.

The standout arrival is RuneScape: Dragonwilds, which finally makes its long-awaited jump from PC early access to PlayStation 5 alongside its official 1.0 launch. Joining it on the service is WWE 2K26, giving subscription holders a major multiplayer title to jump into with friends this week without paying full retail price.

Premium tier subscribers also get a hit of nostalgia with two classic additions. Capcom's 2004 tactical spin-off Mega Man X: Command Mission arrives alongside Metro Redux, which bundles the definitive versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light for players looking for heavy narrative survival horror.

This drop is only the midpoint for September's additions, with additional waves scheduled to land on September 22 and September 29. Sony continues to use the subscription catalog to offer a mix of fresh day-one indie and survival experiences alongside major franchise staples, giving players plenty of variety as the fall release schedule kicks into gear.
