PlayStation 5 players can access the entirety of EA Sports College Football 27 for free until September 6 without needing a PS Plus or EA Play subscription.
PlayStation 5 owners have a rare chance to dive into EA Sports College Football 27 completely free until September 6. Unlike many promotional weekends that require a PS Plus subscription or an EA Play membership, this trial is entirely open access with zero paywalls. Players can jump into every available mode, from Dynasty Blueprint and Road to Glory to Mascot Mashup, experiencing the full breadth of the game without restrictions.
The timing aligns with National College Colors Day, which marks the unofficial kickoff of the college football season across campuses and social media feeds. For players who decide to pick up the full release later, all progress carries over seamlessly. While the promotion extends to Xbox through their Free Play Days lineup, it curiously skips Steam despite the franchise recently expanding to PC.
This free weekend joins a busy lineup of platform trials, including Steam's own promotions for Civilization 7 and First Class Trouble. For sports fans and digital competitors looking for something new to test out over the weekend, it offers an easy entry point to see how the latest roster updates and gameplay tweaks hold up in actual matches.
